ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Ashley Martinez-Perez and I am running for State Representatives for Senate District 24B. I am a working class American and I’ve spent life merely surviving paycheck to paycheck to support my family. I am running for office to speak for the people who have been under-represented for far too many decades. I am running for Social and Economic Justice. What this means is that I care about Americans and the struggles they face daily. I care about the people who work one or more full time jobs, but still aren’t being paid enough to afford their monthly bills. I care about the children that are suffering from the systems that we have allowed to remain broken. I care about the immigrants who are being demonized for coming here in search of a safe home. I care about the elderly people who aren’t getting enough Social Security benefits to make it from one month to the next. I care about the Climate Crisis and having a habitable planet to leave my future grandchildren. Our country is hurting, and it is time for us to start healing it.
